Bezerk, Hoc was referencing/quoting Joe L's comment that DM is not life threatening , not your comment or your current illness.
There is a lot of good and helpful info in this thread - DM is controllable but MUST be taken seriously as it can lead to MANY bad complications.
The educational information is out there and readily available - you just have to avail yourself to it and 'tow the line'
