1. What are the different categories for the 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units? I saw a type C one bedroom unit for sale, but don't know what that means.
There are two types of 1 BR. Type B is a little bigger and has a walk-in shower in the BR. Type C has a tub shower.
2. I was looking for an oceanview unit, which type unit is that?
OceanView units generally carry a decent premium and are in Villa C overlooking the flower fields and the ocean. They need to be specifically designated Ocean View which is supposed to be guaranteed. You call 90 days out or less to request a unit. The third floor is the best.
3. Bonus time: If I buy a one bedroom unit, can I purchase bonus time for a two or three bedroom unit or do I need to stick with the one bedroom for additional bonus time? Is bonus time easy to get? What are the rules for getting bonus time?
You just need to be an owner to get any type of bonus time. Off season is much easier to get. It is much tougher during the summer....as to be expected. But it is possible. Think blue Monday and blue Tuesday for your best bets.
4. Does anyone know if all the units have sold? If not all sold, how much inventory is the developer carrying? 10%? 25%?
This is an ongoing fluctuation as they take owner units back for upgrades. Plus they are building out the final space that is being used for developer sales. My best guess it that it fluctuates around 8 to 15 %.
5. Is there anything else you may think I need to consider before purchasing a unit via resale?

The place is great but the maintenance fees are high. Plus owners can avoid the RCI 1 in 4 rule for all of the GPR managed resorts. Transfer fees are $300 alone which is a rip off but nothing we can do about it. Are you going to use it every year or trade it for another GPR resort?......if not you may want to consider a EOY.
