Vitner, the hike only runs from Memorial day to Labor day, he will do it
the whole week after Labor Day this year, last year he did it til October.
He doesn't get paid, so he stops doing it when the weather changes.
He goes up the mountain, he has had as many as 28 people join him.
He points out nature things (that is a scientific term
).
He does that twice a week and then one night a week he does a slide
show on the natural beauty of the Dells and surrounding area.
It says the tours last an hour,
but it is usually longer as he gets a lot of questions .
People really want to know what else to see and do in the area that shows
the natural beauty.
We stay here from around Mother's Day til mid to late October.
When we go to Florida, he is the volunteer naturalist at the state park near our home.
