For FLORIDA Residents Only . . .
According to an e-mail I received from one of my Florida senators, there was a late December reapproval of the state sales tax deduction for Florida residents. Because it happened so late in the year, none of the IRS forms or tax software packages will include it. If you're a Florida resident, be sure to download the latest updates for your tax software package (if you're using one) or go to the IRS website for updated documentation if you're filing manually.
